On July 17, the Railway Construction Research Institute of China Academy of Railway Sciences and our institute held a signing ceremony for a memorandum of cooperation at the Metro Design Building. After multiple rounds of preliminary discussions, the two parties have agreed to leverage their complementary strengths to jointly expand international business. 

　　The signing ceremony was attended by Li Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Railway Construction Research Institute of China Academy of Railway Sciences Group Co., Ltd.; Wang Shuguo from the Rail Business Department; Du Xianggang from the R&D Center of Beijing Tieke Shougang Rail Technology Co., Ltd.; Wang Dijun, Chairman of Guangzhou Metro Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd.; Zheng Xiang from the Overseas Business Department; Luo Xinwei from the Transportation Planning and Design Institute; and relevant personnel from the contracting enterprises.

　　China Academy of Railway Sciences Group Co., Ltd. Railway Construction Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "Railway Construction Research Institute") was established in 1950 and is a comprehensive scientific research institution in the fields of railway engineering and civil engineering in China. In recent years, it has primarily undertaken research on complete sets of technologies for high-speed railway and heavy-haul railway line infrastructure. It has also been responsible for scientific experiments and design in the upgrading of existing railways, as well as technical services such as consultation, supervision, and testing for major engineering projects.

　　In the new round of strategic planning of our institute, overseas market expansion has been listed as an important strategic objective. Leveraging years of accumulated experience, our institute possesses industry-leading technologies and expertise in areas such as metro network upgrades and green smart technologies. The Railway Construction Research Institute boasts first-class testing conditions in China, including the national-level experimental platform—the National Key Laboratory of High-Speed Railway Track Systems. It also hosts the Railway Engineering Technology Center of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. and serves as the designated authority for railway construction and engineering standards. Additionally, it acts as the domestic technical focal point and technical resource for the Infrastructure Subcommittee of the ISO Technical Committee for Railway Applications. The two institutions will engage in in-depth cooperation to expand international business, creating a favorable situation for mutual benefit and shared development.

　　The signing of this memorandum will fully leverage the complementary advantages of both parties in resources, technology, branding, and market information. It will explore new opportunities for overseas business development and jointly seize global market prospects, serving as an important measure to implement the high-quality development strategy.
