On the morning of May 15, local time, our institute officially signed the technical consultancy contract for the Phase 1 project of Belgrade Metro Line 1 in Serbia with PowerChina International Group Ltd. The signing ceremony was attended by Han Jiping, General Manager of the EPC Project Department for PowerChina’s Belgrade Metro Line 1 Phase 1 project, and members of the Belgrade Metro Line 1 project team, as well as Ma Ming, Vice President of the design institute, Liang Yuehua, Chief Engineer of the Overseas Business Department, and project team members from the Overseas Business Department and Chengdu Branch. This contract marks a successful start to our overseas projects in 2025 and represents a significant milestone for our institute in the European market. The successful signing of this contract signifies the opening of a new chapter in the globalization of our institute’s overseas endeavors and injects new momentum into the collaboration with central state-owned enterprises and the cooperation between China and Serbia in the field of urban infrastructure construction.
