The Guangdong Provincial Green Rail Transit Engineering Technology Research Center aims to enhance the independent innovation capability of rail transit technology enterprises in the province and to promote the progress of comprehensive energy-saving technologies in urban rail transit. The center focuses on related technology research and development, strengthening comprehensive urban energy-saving technologies, improving the energy efficiency of transportation tools, and is committed to establishing a rail transit comprehensive energy-saving technology innovation system driven by enterprises, guided by the market, and integrating industry, academia, and research. This is all in support of achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.
Leveraging the Engineering Technology Research Center, our institute actively implements the national dual carbon strategic goals, conducts key technology research and applications for energy-saving operations in urban rail transit planning, design, and operation, and explores smart energy key technology research and applications for DC lighting microgrids in rail transit. For the first time, we have upgraded energy-saving measures on existing operating lines through an energy cost-managed contract energy management model. We actively adopt internationally leading intelligent and efficient environmental control technologies and our independently developed energy-saving control systems, promoting comprehensive coverage of efficient air conditioning systems from points to lines to the entire network in the Guangzhou Metro. This innovative model provides new ideas for high-quality development in the industry.
