Rail Stations and Supporting Facilities
Project Description:
Baiyun (Tangxi) Station is a six-line urban rail transit interchange station, including the new line 12, the northern extension of line 8 branch line, Fangbai Intercity, the planning of Foshan line 6, the planning of new lines and connecting line 8 Shitan station of the interchange corridor, the new line 5 through the interchange corridor connected to the Shitan station of line 8, which has been opened for operation. The station is located below the Baiyun Station Comprehensive Transportation Hub, the station and Baiyun Station Hub integrated design and implementation, civil engineering synchronization once completed. The station has a total of four underground floors, including four underground floors for Line 12 and the Eight North Extension, three underground floors for Foshan Line 6 and the new line, and four underground floors for the Fangbai Intercity. The total floor area of the station is 183,422.97 square meters. There are 15 entrances and exits, 10 groups of kiosks and 10 safety exits in the reserved engineering part of the subway. The station has a seamless interchange with the Baiyun Station hub. The urban rail transit station integrates various transfer modes such as station hall transfer, channel transfer, platform node transfer and same platform transfer.
Design Highlights:
1、The traffice hub adopts integrated design and synchronized construction.
2、The subway and railroad hub of the interchange using the central station, east and west ends of the unidirectional passenger flow mode.
3、The traffic hub synchronized implementation of the subway reserved for the project five lines station civil engineering.
4、The internal space of the station adopts large-span column network arrangement, which is visually open.
5、The subway station combined with the hub sunken square, to create a semi-open space.
