Project Description:
Jiahewanggang Station is the first station of the Phase I Project of Line 14 from south to north, the station is a ground level two-storey, underground two-storey excavated frame structure, 14m double-column island-type platform, the total length of the station is 662.5m, the width of the standard section is 23.1m, the height of the ground level building is 13.731m, and the depth of the station basement plate is 14.18m, with the total floor area of 35,389.80㎡. Jiahewanggang Station is the first three-line interchange metro station in Guangzhou (Line 2, Line 3 and Line 14 interchange), and is the connecting hub between the southern and northern parts of the Guangzhou metro network. The opening of Jiahewanggang Station realizes the rapid traffic connection between the northeastern part of Baiyun District, Conghua District and the central city of Guangzhou, Zhongxin Knowledge City and Baiyun Airport, increases the radiation driving effect of the central city to the northeastern part of Guangzhou, supports and guides the formation of a reasonable layout of Guangzhou's urban spatial structure, and achieves significant economic, social, environmental and safety benefits.
Design Highlights:
1、The main design concept is to facilitate passenger transfer.
2、Utilizing the characteristics of the ground-level station hall, glass skylights and curtain walls are set up to fully introduce natural light, making the space of the station hall look spacious and bright.
3、A variety of plants are planted outside the station and reflected into the interior of the station hall through the glass curtain wall, which beautifies the environment and effectively soothes the passengers' emotions.
