The present application provides a subway interchange station and a method for constructing a subway interchange station, the subway interchange station being provided in a parallel proximity of two subway lines, the two subway lines being a first line and a second line; the subway interchange station comprising: a station platform layer provided with a first platform and a second platform that are isolated from each other, wherein two sets of rails of the first line pass through the first platform and two sets of rails of the second line pass through the second platform; and a station hall layer. The station hall layer is provided with a station hall, the first platform being connected to the station hall via a first interchange passageway and the second platform being connected to the station hall via a second interchange passageway. The present invention can make the two lines of stations connected to each other in the station hall level, realizing fast transfer; and the transfer space is larger, better avoiding congestion.
