The training program was conducted in Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Shenzhen by combining classroom lectures and on-site teaching. The International Center organized experts and scholars from the founding members of the Global Sustainable Transportation Innovation Alliance (GSITIA), namely China Communications Construction Group (CCCG), China Railway Construction Company Limited (CRCC), China Railway Engineering Group (CREG), China CNR Group (CNRG), Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), as well as the Guangzhou Metro Group (GGMG) to focus on the areas of planning and construction of rail transportation, operation management, investment and financing, digital technology and personnel training and other fields. Sun Yuanguang, Chief Engineer (Planning) of the Design Institute, gave a lecture on "History of China's Urban Rail Transit Development (Taking Guangzhou Metro as an Example) and Four-Network Integration Development Planning" to the participants. In addition to classroom lectures, participants will observe Chinese rail transit projects on site, learn from Chinese rail transit construction and development experience, and negotiate with relevant enterprises on rail transit project cooperation.


The China International Center for Sustainable Transportation Innovation and Knowledge (CICSTK), an institution under the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China, is an important practical platform for practicing the concept of communicating with the world and the times, aiming at accelerating the implementation of the Global Development Initiative (GDI) and the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development).
